Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index edged up 0.02% at the start of trading on Sunday, adding 2.38 points to reach 11,366 compared to the previous session close.
According to Qatar News Agency, five sectors posted gains, led by the Telecoms sector with an increase of 0.65%. This was followed by the Insurance sector, which rose by 0.57%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.50%, Transportation by 0.10%, and Banks and Financial Services by 0.08%. In contrast, the Real Estate sector experienced a decline of 0.14%, while the Industrials sector saw a decrease of 0.49%.
As of 10:00 am, the market recorded a trading volume of 33.006 million shares, with a total turnover of QR 70.414 million executed across 2,788 transactions.
