Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index edged higher 0.08% at the start of trading on Monday, adding 8.37 points to reach 10,682 compared to the previous session’s close.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Consumer Goods and Services (+0.32%), Real Estate (+0.31%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.20%). Meanwhile, declines were recorded in the Insurance (-0.01%), Industrials (-0.07%), Transportation (-0.17%), and Telecoms (-0.30%) sectors.

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 49.804 million from 25.677 million shares traded across 2,726 transactions.
