QSE Index Loses 12.96 Points at Beginning of Trading

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 0.12% at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading, dropping by 12.96 points to reach the level of 10,398 points compared to the previous session’s close, under pressure from four sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data showed positive performance for Telecoms by 0.23%, Real Estate by 0.16%, and Industrials by 0.12%. Meanwhile, Banks and Financial Services saw negative performance by 0.09%, Insurance by 0.11%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.53%, and Transportation by 0.83%.

At 10:00 AM, QSE recorded 2,624 transactions worth QR 51.052 million, distributed over 28.481 million shares.
