Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index declined by 4.21 points, or 0.04%, at the start of trading on Wednesday, falling to 10,907 points compared to the previous session’s close. The drop was mainly driven by losses across five sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed positive performances from the Industrials sector, which rose 0.16%, and the Banks and Financial Services, which gained 0.06%. However, performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services (-0.13%), Real Estate (-0.51%), Transportation (-0.56%), Telecoms (-0.65%), and Insurance (-0.77%).
As of 10:00 am, trading volume totaled 30.105 million shares, with a turnover of QR 54.056 million across 2,656 transactions.
