QSE Index Rises 0.10% at Start of Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose by 0.10% at the beginning of Tuesday’s trading, adding 10.15 points to reach the level of 10,474 points, compared to the previous closing, backed by five sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE figures attributed the rise in the general index to the positive performance of Industrials by 0.72%, Real Estate sector and Telecoms sector by 0.20%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.13%, and Transportation by 0.06%. However, Banks and Financial Services fell by 0.06%, and Insurance fell by 0.24%.

At 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3,473 transactions worth QR 72.641 million, distributed over 29.620 million shares.
