Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index began Monday's trading with an increase of 3.00 points, or 0.03%, to reach the level of 10,294 points compared to the close of Sunday's trading.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures attributed the rise in the general index to the positive performance of the industrial sector, which rose by 0.23% and the transport sector by 0.21%. On the other hand, the performance was negative for the insurance sector by 0.79%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.08%, the real estate sector by 0. 07% and the bank and financial services sector by 0.06, while the telecoms sector remained stable.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth QR 71.293 millions, distributed among 28.816 million shares, with 2,154 transactions.
