Real Betis’ Isco Alarcon Suffers Fibula Fracture During Friendly

Seville: Spanish club Real Betis announced Sunday that first-team player Isco Alarcon sustained an injury during the team’s recent friendly match against Malaga CF, as part of preparations for the upcoming La Liga season.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical tests revealed that Isco has a new non-displaced fracture in the middle third of his left fibula. The club’s official statement clarified that this injury is a new traumatic incident and is not related to any previous issues, which have been resolved.

The statement further noted that the 32-year-old midfielder will undergo treatment over the coming weeks. His return to the field will be determined by the progress of his recovery.
