Riyadh: The fifth edition of the Riyadh International Philosophy Conference 2025 kicked off Thursday. The three-day event, themed “Philosophy Between East and West: Concepts, Origins, and Mutual Influences,” brings together 60 speakers, including philosophers, thinkers, and researchers from across the globe, representing various philosophical schools and trends.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conference features more than 40 dialogue sessions aimed at exploring the roots of Eastern and Western philosophy, different modes of thought, and pathways of mutual influence between diverse schools of thought. It also addresses contemporary issues concerning human meaning, cultural transformations, and the role of philosophy in understanding reality.
