Doha: Three people were killed and 16 others injured in a Ukrainian drone strike on the Foros area of Crimea, Russian officials said on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, separately, two civilians were wounded in Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk. Local authorities reported that Ukrainian forces carried out 16 attacks on the city over the past 24 hours, firing 19 projectiles.

Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine in February 2022. The conflict shows no sign of resolution, with Moscow vowing to continue its campaign until its stated objectives are fully met.
