Russia announced that two Chinese ships arrived in Vladivostok in Russia’s Far East to conduct joint maneuvers with it, in a new indication of the rapprochement between Moscow and Beijing.
The local representation of the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement: Two Chinese Coast Guard ships are in Vladivostok “from September 16 to 20 at the invitation of the Russian Border Guard.”
The two ships will participate in Russian-Chinese maneuvers and will conduct joint patrols, according to the same source.
