Baghdad, Russia announced on Sunday that it had successfully tested an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads from its new nuclear submarine, “Emperor Alexander III.”

The launch of the Bulava missile, the first in just over a year, comes at a time when Russia is intensifying its nuclear rhetoric since revoking its ratification of a key treaty banning nuclear tests.
