Doha: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned the continued Israeli assaults on Syrian territory, denouncing them as a blatant violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel. The attacks, the Kingdom stated, constitute interference in Syria’s internal affairs and a threat to its security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement issued on Tuesday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom’s complete rejection of these violations, which undermine efforts to achieve security and stability in Syria. It called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and take a firm stance against the ongoing aggression.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia expressed satisfaction with the steps taken by the Syrian government to enhance security, preserve civil peace, and strengthen state authority and institutions across all its territory, in a way that safeguards Syria’s unity and security and meets aspirations of Syrian people.

The Kingdom also renewed its call to support Syria during this critical period and to assist the country in restoring its stability and sovereignty, contributing to broader regional security.
