Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the statement issued by the Sultanate of Oman regarding the agreement to establish a ceasefire in Yemen, aimed at safeguarding international navigation and trade.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Wednesday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom’s support for all efforts to achieve a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis, ensuring security and stability for Yemen and the region.

On Tuesday, Oman announced an agreement to halt hostilities between the United States and the relevant authorities in Sanaa, Yemen, as part of efforts to de-escalate tensions.
