Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s main index ended Tuesday’s trading session with a decline of 21.97 points, settling at 11,583.23 points. The total value of trades amounted to SR 6.1 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading day saw 305 million shares exchanged. Of the companies involved, 85 experienced an increase in their share value, while 154 saw a decline.
The Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index, known as Nomu, also reported a decrease, closing down 19.65 points at 25,520.62 points. Trades on the Nomu were valued at SR 58 million, with more than 6 million shares changing hands during the session.
