Doha: Several Lebanese were injured today in an Israeli airstrike on a town in southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli drone fired two missiles on Beit Lif town in the south of the country, resulting in injuries.

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement announced on November 27, through repeated air and ground incursions and violations in southern Lebanon and the border areas. This is despite the agreement stipulating the occupation’s withdrawal from the villages and towns it had invaded within 60 days. Israeli forces remain stationed in more than 30 Lebanese villages and towns.
