Doha: Sidra Medicine of Qatar Foundation, will host the first-ever Gulf Pediatric Critical Care Conference “Forging Connections: Enhancing Care for Critically Ill Children” from Jan. 23-26, 2025. The landmark conference is the first of its kind to be held in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and will feature local and international speakers and experts to discuss the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric critical care and intensive care (PICU). Key topics will include innovative strategies, clinical developments, and interdisciplinary collaboration that can enhance care for critically ill children.
According to Qatar News Agency, Conference Chair and Division Chief of Pediatric Critical Care at Sidra Medicine Dr. Ikram Haque stated, “the Gulf Pediatric Critical Care Conference is an exciting opportunity for healthcare professionals to come together, share knowledge, and collaborate on addressing the complex medical, social, and ethical challenges that affect our young patient population in the
GCC.” Showcasing the breadth of GCC-related collaboration, the conference’s organizing committee includes members from renowned institutions in Qatar, KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. International experts include members from Canada, Spain, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, UK, and USA.
