SJC, Public Prosecution Launch First Joint Auction for Confiscated Assets Via Mzadat App.

SJC: The Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) and the Public Prosecution are set to conduct their first joint auction for confiscated assets, scheduled for Wednesday. This auction involves assets seized in various cases by the Public Prosecution.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Council and the Public Prosecution have completed all necessary preparations to facilitate this joint auction. The initiative aims to enhance cooperation and utilize available resources, contributing to the development of legal and judicial procedures within both institutions.

The auction will be conducted through the Mzadat app, focusing on cars and motorcycles confiscated by the Public Prosecution. The auction will feature seven cars of various models and five motorcycles, with bidding open from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday.

This auction signifies the collaborative efforts and institutional integration between the Supreme Judiciary Council and the Public Prosecution. Both bodies have established a successful institutional partnership and
joint judicial procedures, agreeing on the arrangements for showcasing and offering confiscated assets through court auctions. Future auctions plan to include valuable items such as watches, jewelry, real estate, and luxury cars.

The Evictions and Judicial Auctions Department at the Enforcement Court and the Seizure and Confiscation Office at the Public Prosecution are collaborating on a joint working mechanism. A technical and logistical support team is in place to ensure the success of the auctions, aiming to achieve the desired outcomes.
