Ljubljana: Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon and her Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, who is visiting Ljubljana, discussed on Tuesday ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation across various sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also addressed the situation in Gaza, including efforts to halt the Israeli offensive and end the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Both ministers affirmed their commitment to intensifying coordination aimed at achieving a lasting ceasefire in Gaza, facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid, and advancing a credible path toward the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state based on the two-state solution, which they described as the only viable route to a just peace.
