Colombo: HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Vijitha Herath, met with HE Jassim bin Jaber Al-Suroor, Qatar’s outgoing Ambassador, marking the end of his diplomatic posting. The meeting was an opportunity for both officials to discuss the progress and future prospects of the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions centered on the areas of cooperation that have been cultivated during Ambassador Al-Suroor’s tenure.
