Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during the latter’s visit to Oman, renewed their condemnation of the Israeli attack on Qatar. They emphasized their full solidarity with Qatar and pledged support for any measures Qatar may take to protect its sovereignty and security.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders stated that the Israeli attack constitutes a violation of national sovereignty and breaches international law. They highlighted the threat it poses to regional security and stability.

In addition, the leaders discussed the progress of Gulf Cooperation Council efforts. They reiterated their commitment to strengthening Gulf integration and supporting initiatives that advance the GCC’s objectives. The discussion also included enhancing cooperation among member states to fulfill aspirations for development and prosperity. They exchanged views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.
