Swiss Fuchs Clinches Five-Star Victory in Round 13 of Longines Global Tour

Vienna: Swiss showjumper Martin Fuchs secured the top position in the 5* Grand Prix during the 13th leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, held in Vienna, Austria, with the participation of best riders from around the globe.

According to Qatar News Agency, Fuchs claimed first place on the horse Conner Gill with a time of 34.00 seconds, faultless, winning a prize of EUR 18,000. Brazilian rider Eduardo Pereira de Mendez finished second on the horse Nocando with a time of 35.54 seconds, faultless, securing a prize of EUR 11,000, while German rider Katrin Eckermann took third place on the horse Shao Li with a time of 36.53 seconds, faultless, and earned a prize of EUR 8,000.

The five-star competition was held at a height of 150 cm, with 30 riders competing for total prize money of EUR 55,000.

The Longines Global Tour kicked off in Doha (Al Shaqab), moving on to Mexico City, Shanghai, then Madrid, Aachen, St. Tropez, Paris, Monaco, London, followed by Valkenswaard, Riesenbeck, and New York.

The next stages of the tour will continue in Rome and Riyadh, culminating in the highly anticipated finale in Prague.
