Doha: Syrian President Ahmad Al Sharaa and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reviewed a host of regional and international issues, in addition to the developments in the region, namely, the Israeli attack on Iranian territory. This came during a phone call held Saturday during which Erdogan said that Israel’s cycle of violence threatens the region and that Syria must stay out of the conflict.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation between the two leaders focused on the implications of the recent Israeli actions and the broader geopolitical tensions that have arisen as a result. Both presidents emphasized the importance of maintaining regional stability and avoiding further escalation. The dialogue also underscored the need for diplomatic solutions to address ongoing disputes and potential conflicts in the Middle East.
