Doha: The General Tax Authority (GTA) has announced that more than 4,000 taxpayers have benefited from tax exemptions totaling over QR900 million. This comes as part of the authority’s 100% Financial Penalty Exemption Initiative.

According to Qatar News Agency, the initiative, which began on March 1, is part of the GTA’s strategy to reduce financial burdens on companies and encourage voluntary tax compliance. The initiative aims to make the tax system more efficient and transparent, contributing to the nation’s sustainable development goals.
