The Federal Police forces arrested 11 suspects in various legal cases and seized unlicensed weapons in Baghdad and Maysan.

A statement of the Federal Police Command stated: “The federal police units, in conjunction with the intelligence effort detachments, carried out security operations during which 11 suspects wanted by the judiciary were arrested on charges of (tribal violence, defamation, assault, quarrels) in the areas of (Al-Khatib, Al-Ammari, Al-Jihad, Um Al-Kubr and Al-Ghazlan in Baghdad and Al-Askari neighborhood in Maysan).

It added that: “Within the motorized division sector in the (Fifth Police, Al-Bakriya) areas, a security force managed through the regional inspection to seize (3 Kalashnikov rifles, an audio pistol, a bayonet, 4 rifle stores and a protective shield). The accused were referred with the materials duly seized to the authorities Competent.
