The Iraqi Turkmen United Front list in Kirkuk called for stopping media campaigns and preserving the city and its security.

It confirmed in a statement that the Turkmen component renews its call to all parties to adhere to what was stated in the document of honor announced by the list, which includes preserving societal peace and peaceful coexistence among the components of Kirkuk, and the prohibition of shedding blood in Kirkuk.

It called on the nation’s partners in Kirkuk to stop the media campaigns that inflame the situation in the governorate and prevent escalation against any component.

It stressed the prohibition of attacking security forces of all kinds, not to harm the Iraqi flag, and preventing the use of archaeological monuments and historical symbols of Kirkuk to incite national and sectarian strife, and to preserve national gains./End
