The Israeli army announced at dawn on Friday that its forces launched raids in Lebanon, following the launch of a barrage of rockets from Lebanese territory, in an attack that Israel attributed to Palestinian activists.

In a brief statement, the army said, “The Israel Defense Forces carried out strikes in Lebanon.
