The Diyala Police Command revealed the details of the murder of an employee in the governorate's Traffic Directorate / in the capacity of a contract / three days ago. Diyala Police Chief, Major General Alaa Al-Zubaidi, said in a statement: 'A security team was formed to uncover the circumstances of the crime, and it became clear through investigations that the perpetrator was a friend of the victim. He lured him to the bank of the Diyala River from the direction of the village (Bazayez Sherwin) and killed him with several gunshots as a result of a personal argument between them. He added: 'The security team arrested the perpetrator after following him and arriving at his location.' The security forces announced several days ago that the body of a traffic policeman was found dumped on the bank of the Diyala River, bearing traces of gunshot wounds.
