The Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, met with a delegation from the Japanese JICA Agency and Fujifilm Middle East and Africa Company, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affairs at the Japanese Embassy in Iraq, Masamoto Kenichi, the Technical Undersecretary, Hani Al-Aqabi, and a number of those concerned in the Ministry.

The Japanese delegation expressed its desire to cooperate with the Ministry of Health in various health fields, including the digital transformation of primary health care.

During the meeting, the Minister of Health stressed ‘the importance of continuing cooperation and partnership with the Japanese side in various health fields, including digital transformation and automation of primary health care, which contributes to developing the health reality in Iraq and working in accordance with international standards.’
