The Minister Of Interior Chairs A Meeting To Discuss The Processes Of The Reverse Return For Pilgrims

The Minister of Interior, Abd al-Amir al-Shammari, chaired today, Sunday, an expanded meeting to discuss the continuation of the operations of the reverse return for pilgrims (visitors of Imam Hussein) and providing services to them.

A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that “The Minister of Interior, the head of the Supreme Security Committee to secure the Arbaeen visit, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, chaired in the holy governorate of Karbala an expanded meeting that included the governors of Karbala, Wasit and Babylon, and the two deputy governors of Najaf and the holy Karbala, in the presence of the Karbala operations commander, the provincial police chief, and the two undersecretaries of the ministries of transport and trade, and representatives of the holy shrines, the head of the service committee, the head of the Hajj and Umrah commission, and a number of leaders and concerned parties.

The statement indicated, “The minister discussed the reverse return for pilgrims (visitors of Imam Hussein), providing the best services for them and everything related to this eternal occasion, in conjunction with the increase in the number of pilgrims, heading to the Master of Martyrs.”

Al-Shammari stressed the importance of “implementing the directives of the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, intensifying efforts in all axes and the center of the holy Karbala governorate, and unifying security and service work.”
