The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Al-Ghais, the most important challenges facing the energy markets.
The Ministry said in a statement: “During the meeting in the Austrian capital, Vienna, they discussed developments in the oil market, the most important challenges facing energy markets, and the efforts of Ministers of producing countries in OPEC and OPEC Plus to work to achieve stability and balance for the oil market.”
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Gas Affairs, Izzat Saber, and the General Manager of the Oil Marketing Company “SOMO”.
