The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent an urgent appeal to the Iraqi community in Sudan.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement: “In implementation of the scheduled evacuation trip, we call on the Iraqi community in Sudan to gather in the “Manshiya” area located on Omak Street near the United Nations headquarters at MTN.
He added, “The departure time for the transport buses will be on Wednesday, 4/26/2023, at6: am, heading to Port Sudan.”
Al-Sahaf called on the members of the Iraqi community to adhere to caution while moving from their homes to the specified location.

Today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, directed that every effort be made to assist in the evacuation of Iraqis residing in Sudan.
