Baghdad The Coordination Framework Initiative to resolve the political impasse stressed the need to accommodate all constitutional and legal appeals and complaints regarding the results of the parliamentary elections by the relevant judicial authorities and support legal tracks.
The initiative also added that the focus should not be on the form and representation of the government, but rather on the government program that includes achieving complete sovereignty, fighting corruption, addressing unemployment, providing services, raising the economic level for citizens, finding solid mechanisms to address the crisis of raising the dollar exchange rate, activating agriculture and industry and encouraging investment, the private sector and addressing the serious water crisis and other urgent files related to the daily lives of citizens.
It added that it must be agreed to support legislation that addresses the basic problems of citizens, raises the economic level and preserves the cultural identity of the Iraqi people.
The initiative called for raising the level of combat capabilities of the armed forces of all kinds, including the army, the federal police, the anti-terrorism agency, the Popular Mobilization and the Peshmerga, and supporting all security services.
It called for preserving the popular mobilization forces, raising its capabilities, institutionalizing it, and completing its structures in accordance with the law.
It continued, “The parliamentary imbalance resulting from the imbalance in the election results must be addressed by finding accurate treatments to ensure that laws or legislation are not passed alone and change approved or invalidated.”
The initiative emphasized that in order to achieve true partnership in the administration of the state, we see the necessity of forming the Policies Council as an advisory council until the legislation of the Federation Council law.
It made it clear that the political opposition is a right guaranteed to the forces that desire it, and the forces that come to terms with forming the government must announce this and bear full responsibility for the performance of their representatives in the executive authority before the people.
It concluded that the three presidencies must be subject to the agreement of political forces, taking into account the prevailing constitutional custom.
The coordinating framework called on all political partners to work hard in order to reach solutions that our people, who still suffer from many shortcomings, are convinced of.
