A force from the 12th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out a large-scale search operation in the (Tarmiya) area, within the responsibility sector, north of Baghdad.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated: “The operation aims to prevent any infiltration or breach in the operations sector.”
He explained: “The forces of the 12th Brigade in the Popular Mobilization continue to carry out security operations with absolute responsibility to prevent the enemy and its remnants from using these areas as guesthouses, and to tighten the screws on them.”
