A force from the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces thwarted an infiltration of remnants of ISIS gangs in the Gwer area, southeast of Mosul.

A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated that a force from the two brigades (30 and 59) of the Popular Mobilization Forces detected an infiltration of terrorists late at night in the vicinity of the Gweir area, southeast of the city of Mosul, and the targets were dealt with after monitoring their movements, and the casualties were direct.
