The President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, condoled the anniversary of the martyrdom of Mr. Muhammad Muhammad Sadiq al-Sadr and his two sons.

He said in a statement: Today we remember the march of sacrifice and benevolence, the memory of the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Muhammad Sadiq al-Sadr, and his honorable two sons in their defiance and heroic jihad against dictatorial tyranny.

The President of the Republic stated: We draw inspiration from this memory of the meanings of dedication, mobilization of determination and synergy to serve our people and achieve their hopes and aspirations to establish security, stability and well-being for our citizens.
