The Popular Mobilization Forces began combing the vicinity of Khanaqin countryside in Diyala Governorate.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the Popular Mobilization Forces began combing the vicinity of the Balkana depressions within the Khanaqin countryside, northeast of Baquba, from two axes.

He added that the operation aims to secure the countryside of Khanaqin, prevent any violations, and re-comb the area, which is characterized by a complex geographical location.
