Cairo: The Third Arab Forum for Digital Transformation in Institutions: Advanced Strategies to Promote Innovation and Achieve Excellence in Citizen Service began Monday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. The event is organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), affiliated with the Arab League, in partnership with the Libyan Institute of Management.
According to Qatar News Agency, the three-day forum will address several topics, including innovation in public service delivery using digital technologies, the role of data and artificial intelligence in improving institutional performance, digital governance challenges and solutions, the integration of technology and institutional culture, strategies for empowering digital human competencies, and the role of culture in institutions in identifying opportunities for digital transformation.
In his opening remarks at the forum, Director General of the ARADO Dr. Nasser Al Hatlan Al Qahtani emphasized that digital transformation has become an essential strategic option for enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness. This aims to bring about significant change in service delivery mechanisms, particularly in the public sector, to improve quality of life and effectively meet citizens’ needs.
Dr. Al Qahtani highlighted the importance of adopting advanced strategies that balance the use of modern technology with the establishment of an innovative organizational culture rooted in knowledge and effective data use. He noted that digital transformation involves reengineering organizational processes to enhance beneficiary experience, foster innovation, and increase operational efficiency.
