Three soldiers were injured in a clash with a terrorist cell southwest of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): 'A military force clashed, during a sweeping operation on the banks of the Diyala River in the vicinity of the villages of Al-Ait on the outskirts of Bani Saad, with a terrorist cell, which led to the injury of three soldiers.' He added: "The military force seized two secret guest houses for ISIS cells, which were destroyed on site," indicating: "The operation continues to track down the terrorist cell in farms near the banks of the Diyala River."
