Tunis: The Tunisian economy expanded by 2.5 percent in 2025, according to data released Sunday by the National Institute of Statistics.
According to Qatar News Agency, official data showed that Tunisia recorded 2.5 percent growth in 2025, compared with 1.4 percent in 2024, noting that the improvement was driven primarily by expansion in the agriculture and services sectors.
Tunisia is aiming to achieve 3.3 percent economic growth in 2026, as it seeks to revive growth while maintaining public finance stability and boosting foreign investment.
According to the National Institute of Statistics, the fourth quarter of 2025 registered 2.7 percent year-on-year growth in real GDP, compared with the same period in 2024.
