Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced Wednesday that his country has signed an agreement to produce and export 48 KAAN fighter jets to Indonesia.
According to Qatar News Agency, Erdogan stated that under the agreement, these fighter jets will be produced in Turkiye, with Indonesia’s domestic capabilities being utilized in the production process.
The KAAN fighter jet, developed by the Turkish Aerospace Industries, is a fifth-generation fighter capable of performing air-to-air combat missions and conducting precision strikes from its internal weapon bays at supersonic speeds.
