Turkiye’s exports in July recorded a growth of 8.4 percent, totaling USD 20.09 billion, Turkish Ministry of Trade stated on Thursday.
The share of medium-high and high technology in the Turkiye’s overall exports increased from 36.9 percent in 2022 to 40.8 percent in the first seven months of this year.
Countries that exported the most last July were Germany (USD 1.677 billion), followed by Italy (USD 1.103 billion) and then the United States of America (USD 1.1 billion).
Through January to July, the exports totaled USD 143.4 billion.
Turkiye’s Minister of Trade Omer Bolat said that this was achieved despite the stagnation in global production, especially in the European Union countries which are the largest export markets for Turkiye.
Turkish government will continue its commitment to strengthening the manufacturing sector, stimulating exports, and global competitiveness of Turkish companies in the fields of technology and advanced industries, Bolat added.
