Two Palestinians Wounded by Israeli Occupation Fire at Qalandia Checkpoint

Qalandia: Two Palestinians were wounded Sunday by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire at the Qalandia military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem. The incident has raised concerns over the ongoing tensions in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews received two young men who had sustained live-ammunition injuries near the checkpoint and transported them to hospital for treatment. The situation at Qalandia remains tense as humanitarian groups continue to monitor the developments.

Israeli attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank have escalated in recent months, marked by an increase in raids, arrests, and the use of live fire targeting residents of cities, towns, and villages. The escalation has drawn international attention, with calls for restraint and dialogue to address the conflict.
