The security forces in Maysan arrested two accused of various crimes during two security operations carried out in Al-Majjar Al-Kabir and Qalat Saleh districts.

The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement: “A force from the Second Regiment, 97th Infantry Brigade, affiliated with the Maysan Operations Command, and in partnership with Al-Sukkar Police Station, was able to arrest an accused in accordance with the provisions of Article (413) of intentional harm in Al-Majjar Al-Kabir District, in which arrested an accused person, in accordance with the provisions of Article (406), was charged with premeditated murder and a number of weapons were confiscated in the Qalaat Saleh district, noting that the accused were handed over with the seized items to the competent authorities.
