London: The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom (FCDO) has called on the Israeli occupation authorities to halt settlement construction in the West Bank, including the E1 expansion plan.

According to Qatar News Agency, the FCDO emphasized that Israeli annexation of the West Bank should not occur. The statement included a strong appeal for Israel to stop the expansion of illegal settlements, highlighting the E1 plans, and urged action against extremist settler violence.

The FCDO reiterated that the two-state solution remains the only viable path to peace. The statement reflects the UK’s ongoing commitment to supporting a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
