Doha: Ukrainian authorities announced that they have received the remains of 1,200 Ukrainian soldiers from Russia, in the latest step under an agreement reached by the two sides during peace talks in Istanbul, Turkey, in early June.

According to Qatar News Agency, a prisoner exchange deal between Russia and Ukraine on June 9 resulted in the return of the first batch of Russian soldiers under the age of 25.
