Ukrainian air defense systems announced Monday that 12 Russian drones were shot down.

The Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement that 12 out of 13 Russian attack drones were destroyed over the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine.

There have been conflicting reports on the extent of losses suffered by both sides of the conflict since the outbreak of the Russian military operation in Ukraine in 2022.
