Washington: US President Donald Trump discussed security and trade cooperation with his Honduran counterpart, Nasry Asfura. Trump stated that he held an important meeting with the President of Honduras, stressing their commonly shared vision based on the priority of American interests and a close partnership regarding security and combating trans-border crime.
According to Qatar News Agency, the talks, which took place last night, touched upon enhancing investment and trade between the two countries. The Honduran President already met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, after which both sides announced plans for a free trade agreement.
