US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba discussed Saturday the ongoing preparations for Ukraine’s “counteroffensive.” In a statement on Saturday, the US State Department said they discussed, “Contributions from international partners can support its success.” “Ukraine’s sovereignty is vital to peace and security in Europe and reiterated the US commitment to holding Russia to account,” the statement added, underscoring “President Biden’s pledge to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes.”
