Doha: Major US stock indexes closed higher at the end of trading on Tuesday. The Sandamp;P 500 rose 185.09 points, or 2.91 percent, to finish at 6,528.81. The Nasdaq Composite gained 797.83 points, or 3.84 percent, to end at 21,592.47. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 1,118.69 points, or 2.47 percent, closing at 46,334.83.

According to Qatar News Agency, the positive performance across the major indexes reflects investor optimism in the market. The significant gains were driven by strong performances across various sectors, contributing to the overall rise in stock values.
