Doha: The S and P 500 rose 9.63 points, or 0.15%, to close at 6,306.42.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Nasdaq Composite climbed 82.99 points, or 0.40%, finishing at 20,978.64 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 3.08 points, or 0.01%, to settle at 44,339.11.
